I had a Big Boy. 357 and traded it off. Very smooth action and accurate, but it was brick to handle. Sure hope they scale it down a bit for the .327. Glad to see Henry continuing to produce different calibers though. The 327 is an interesting cartridge.

Oh man ... where do I get in line at? Would love to have one but i'm sure it will come with a hefty price tag ...

To bad Ruger didn't pull the trigger on it ... would be a great matching it up with my Single Seven ...

They'll no doubt build it on the Big Boy Center fire platform. If with steel receiver and round barrel is $850.

I received a Holiday Henry email today but it didn't say anything about the .327. Did the message have a link in it for the announcement? Thanks...

Henry is making the 327 in a Brass rifle and carbine and in a Steel Rifle and Carbine.
I have a Henry Steel 44 mag rifle and Steel 357 Carbine. I'll be looking at getting a Steel Carbine in 327 after the hoopla dies down. It's on their website.

Talked to my FLGS the other day, they said Henry is telling them the guns will ship end of April. More time to save up I guess.

I hope that Henry will come out with the Big Boy Steel in a carbine version. This to me makes more sense then the prettier Big Boy Brass very nice rifle but man I wouldn't want to scratch that beautiful brass receiver!!!

I talked to Henry customer service just over a month ago.
They told me the new .327's would start shipping mid to late March.
They also told me to email Henry president Anthony Imperata if I wanted one from the first shipment. Henry expects these to be very hot sellers and don't expect them to stay on gun shop shelves long.

I took the advice of customer service and sent Mr. Imperata an email.
The response I got was incredible to me.
The president of the company contacted me to ask,
Who my FFL is, what distributor does he prefer, and exactly which model I am looking for.

I email the requested information and received a reply in less than 24 hours.
My FFL was contacted by Henry the next day.
They informed him that his account with Davison's Gallery of Guns would be charged for this purchase, but the rifle would be drop-shipped from the factory directly to my FFL.

I'm expecting a call in the next few days to come pick up my new .327 Big Boy steel.
If you want one from the first batch, I'd suggest you email Mr.Imperata and submit a request.
You may be waiting a while if you try to buy one through normal channels.
