That hasn't been because I don't want to, just never have. Even though I have 15 or so rimfire rifles, I seldom shoot any of them myself, other than my Kimber and Benchmark. I do have 61 and 63 Winchesters that get shot a LOT by my daughter and when we shoot, I usually shoot either one of the Winchesters that she is not, or grab the Benchmark. The 9422s just kind of got put back and forgotten about...........but will remedy that soon. None of the Marlins have been fired in 10 years or more either. More of a centerfire guy. Like I said, in all the years I have owned these, this is the first time they have ever been out together................Maybe I need to have "lever day.........LOL!!!

Just keep in mind that your Winchesters are model 9422 XTR 'Classics'. They were only made 3 years 1985 - 1987 and discontinued. They are pretty rare and collectable these days. I have one I bought brand new in 1985...I shoot it but I take immaculate care of it and still have all the paperwork and original box for it....

All true.......but I don't mind shooting ANYTHING I own, because I take exceptional care of my guns. The Golden 39M and 1894 .357 pictured, I have had since I was in my mid teens. I am 51 now. And although they haven't been shot much in several years, there is no telling how many rounds have been through those two, especially the 39M. Several, several, thousand rounds and you would be hard pressed to tell the rifle from NEW. It does not have a scratch, nor a nick or dent in stock. Same goes for ANY gun I own that I bought new. I just don't scratch or dent them. The only thing I own that is not near perfect, would be something I bought used.

I have taken my gunsmith a few "overbore" varmint guns, that have completely had the barrel shot out. The first one, he asked "why you want to re-barrel, looks like you never shot it"......I told him "have a look at the chamber"......"oh ****" was his reply after looking............LOL!!!
