Yep, you got the "Buy one at a discount and the second one's free" deal. Love to see pics of both. I'm a big fan of the Marlin leverguns.

Albums are a different beast. I'll PM you a how-to when I get home if you haven't sorted it out by then

If your USA single action is what I think it is, it is worth north of $1000.
You got a great deal just on the JM Marlin, they are one of the best lever guns ever made for the money.

I have been watching the local gun listings online & the Win. Model 94's are over priced & the JM stamped Marlins are going up in value. Got my Marlin 336RC for $300.00 I felt very fortunate to get one as nice as I did. I feel the Marlin 336 is a much nicer gun the a Win. Model 94, but I really like a Win. Model 92

Don't know what you have in mind for a scope, but you can't go wrong with a small Leupold 4x28, or a small Nikon. Big scopes on leverguns just look out of place to me. This Marlin 444 has one of the Leupold 4 x 28's on it for size ideas.

If you decide not to use the peep sight, please consider pricing it to me. I am wanting one for a 1980 Marlin 30-30 I recently bought. I think it's something I'd like to try.

I'd love to see more pics of the revolver! It's in great condition from what I can see. Nice find on the pair!
