New SP101

I just joined and as I mentioned in the new member section I just bought an SP101 in 357 with the 2 1/4" barrel. I added a set of Badger boot grips and ordered a FO green little wonder front sight from Gemini Customs.
I've put around 35 rounds of assorted 38spl & 357 ammo through it and like the way it shoots.
I'm still looking for a used owb holster, I hate the thought of ordering one and waiting 8 weeks to a year to get one.
Looks like a lot of good info on here and a pretty laid back group from what I've read so far.

Hey! Welcome! And nice buy! The SP is a great revolver! Post a pic of your setup when you're finished adding the grip and sight. I'm thinking I'd like to try a new sight on mine!

Welcome to the forum.

I've been happy with the Bianchi Minimalist OWB holster for my 2.25" SP101. I found one on the shelf at a LGS but even if you ordered one online it should come pretty quickly. Here's a link - 3 left in both tan ($38.69) and black ($41.19). Usually free shipping on stuff here (Optics Planet). (Be sure to enter Ruger and SP101 in the search fields to find the correct holster.)

Bianchi 105 Minimalist with Slots Holster - Plain Black 19493 FREE S&H 19494, 19254, 19256, 19244, 19242, 19490, 19252, 19257, 19500, 19502, 19504, 19784, 19243, 19246, 19255, 19492, 19245, 19247, 19253, 19491, 19493, 19495, 19501, 19503, 19505, 1978

Quality holster for a reasonable price and being small it conceals well as OWB.

Welcome from AZ.
I've had great success with finding various holsters at Midway.

The Grips are nice. Check out Tagua Gunleather. Very Nice Holsters, well made and less expensive than Galco. I prefer them to Galco.

No use to wait for a year for a OWB holster. I have one of these in black for my 3" SP101 in 327 Federal Magnum and love it.
