A Good Day at the Gun Store: New SP101

New here.

I happened on this little beauty today at one of my local gun stores. $500 later, and she was all mine. Not bad for a new SP101 considering the current craze.

Any recommendations on holsters?

Looks nice. Is it a .357?

Very nice! You've got yourself a fine revolver.
I've had mine for 18 years and it is still solid as a rock.

Very nice. Is it a 3-inch barrel? If you're looking at an IWB holster, Crossbreed's Supertuck is as comfortable as it gets. CrossBreedŽ Holsters

Congratulations on your 3" SP101! Holsters are not as easy to come by for the 3" model. I got this one from Steve Kelly at Kelly Gun Leather. Nice for OWB carry.

The first gun I purchased after getting my permit was a 3" SP. like you I walked into a shop and there she was in the used case. It was meant to be. I hope you enjoy your SP as I do mine.

A Good Day at the Gun Store: New SP101

I just ordered a hybrid from foxxholsters.com and will let you know how it is but have one already for a glock and super comfy and only $39.

Very nice, I like the black grip panels better than the ones with the wood.

Very nice! I would recommend Remora holsters. That's what I use with my SP101.

Great price!

I have been bragging about a NIB SP101 (DAO) snub that I just found at a gunshow: paid $549. and was happy!

That sucker is getting shipped off to Gemini Customs for a work-over!!

Thanks!

Thanks for the comments and holster recommendations, everyone. For those who asked, it has the 3.06" barrel.

I've wanted a SP101 in this exact configuration for quite some time now, so when I saw it under the glass at my LGS, I didn't hesitate. This one's a keeper. I love Ruger revolvers. American Steel!!
