I put lighter springs and did a trigger job on mine and its unbelievable. I cant get over how accurate it is and how easy it is too shoot.

McD I haven't tried to CC my 3" as yet. Even my 2 1/2" SP seems to print on me! The grip size is about 1/2" shorter than the full size and a bit smaller in diameter. Midway is where I picked up my compact grips. When in stock they run a little over $8 without panels and if you need the locator they run a little over $2. The normal locator for the standard grip is the same. The panels are the same that fit the SP grips.
