a .22 revolver would be fun to shoot. thanks for the heads up on the expensive ammo also. that does make a big difference in my decision. the sp101 has been on my mind for some time now. everytime I hold it, it feels soooooo sweet.

Whatever you think you would like, maybe a 44 Redhawk, but you don't have to stop there. Happy shooting.

If all I had was a GP 100 & I had a revolver bug I'd get a Single Six for the 22lr 22 mag in same revolver.

The SR22p and the new Sp101-22 are a lot of fun at the range, not quite as accurate as the Mk II Target or a single six but still a lot of fun for the whole family.

The SP101, IMO, the perfect CC and trailgun. BTW, if you think it holds sweet, try one with a set of aftermarket grips on it. We are huge fans of Hogue around here.

I concur with LibbyLarry and THOR: The next wheel gun considerations could be, depending on your uses and areas, The Redhawk and the SP101 are the two best candidates... I like the SP101 in about a 2" barrel, since you already have a 4" GP100, especially if carrying a gun for personal protection in a risky area is a concern. The Redhawk for both field carry (hunting) and protection from dangerous beasts (two or four legged). Since you have the GP100, I might think first of the SP101.
