I have the SP101, 3", .357 and like it for woods, trail carry in a belt holster. It's a bit large and heavy in my view for concealed carry, especially in the Summer months. Conceals much better in Winter.

My main carry is a SP101 357 3" barrel and don't for-see changing that in my life time, (Old guy) excellent gun, top quality. My Glock 19 is a range gun now.

I held the SP101 357 (4" hi-viz) model again today as it was still there, but I just can't believe the price this shop has on it. Nearly S&W money in my opinion. I always prefer to do business locally, but for this one, I might look to Bud's or grabagun.com.

I got bored of taking my 19 to the range...lol Always works, always accurate, and always leaving me wanting to try something different.

I think having a nice Ruger revolver would be a nice change of pace at the range for a while.

I completely understand. I traded my G19 for an SP101 for the exact same reason. Something different.

It sells for $599 here in So. Cal.
If you're interested I can provide you with 2 dealers who have it at that price.
