LCR in my hand ready to go!

I picked up my LCR 357 from my LGS yesterday and I can already tell I am going to like this little puppy. First of all, this this The improved model with the changes although the trigger pull is still over 9 lbs it is very smooth. It came with an OWB holster which is surprisingly good and an integrated laser which dosn't work (gunshop owner will replace). I am going to start out with standard 38 ammo and work my way up to the 357 loads although recoil is generally not a problem with me as I have good upper body strength due to wearing crutches the 1st 14 years of my life due to polio. Still, I'm sure it's going to be fairly snappy recoil. His is going to be a good addition to my carry pistols.

Congrats on your KLCR!

I have good upper body strength too, yet I find .357 out of the KLCR to be eye opening. The recoil energy travels through the gun, to the grip, to the palm of my hand by the thumb, then into my body. While my upper body can take it, my hand gets beat up within 20 rounds.

Fun stuff.

Is the laser part of the grip? If so, your KLCR is missing the primary recoil reducing component. Read many of the other posts about your set up. You may want to try shooting one with the tamer grips. Just a suggestion.
