My wife an I were planning a run into Phoenix anyway when I found the ad so we moved the trip date up a week to try and get the SP.

Good price there!!!!!!
Get a set of Hogue grips and it will make a huge difference in the feel and shoot ability.
Also possibly a set of "speed" springs.
Be ware that you may not want the after market hammer spring. They can cause failure to fire if the hammer doesn't have enough speed on the fall.

Crusty Deary Ol'Coot | Thanks 'Crusty', I did order the Hogue grips right away, I should have them by midweek. 
On my GP100 I did a polish job on the trigger, changed to 10# hammer/8# trigger springs and shimmed trigger/hammer. I will do the same on the SP101.  | |

Good deal on a great revolver. The 3" version has a lot going for it. The shorties will ride in a pocket better but they're a bit heavy to me for pocket carry. The 3" in a good holster can handle about anything. Hamilton Bowen offers an enhanced SP101 package that I keep considering for mine.

I too have a 4'' gp and a 3'' sp and love them both,I think you will like the feel of the Hogie grips on the sp,I like mine.
BTW what part of Az do you live?
