The only two barrel lengths Ruger ever made the 357 BH in were 4 5/8" and 6 1/2".

That's absolutely true except for the Bisley. All the standard Bisleys wore the 7 1/2 in barrel.

...and I want one!!!!!

I saw an old flattop with about a 10 inch barrel once in 357.Iknow I did,as I examined it really close. It had a rear sight marked "micro".I wanted it,just couldnt afford it.Be safe.

357 bbl length

I have a 6-1/2" but in my opinion a 4 5/8" is a much better gun.

I bought one of the 7.5 Bisley 357's a few weeks ago. They were on sale through Davidson's for $440 + tax, which is around the same price as a standard 6.5" model. I didn't look it over very good when I picked it up (my mistake), and when I got it home, I found it was missing 1/2 the rear sight blade. Ruger did send me one a few days later, and it was simlpe to install.

I put a lighter trigger spring in it, but I am still not 100 happy with the length of the pull. It seems you have to pull a long way before it goes bang, but if you'll hold it steady and squeeze the trigger, it is a very straight shooter.

I highly recommend the 357 Bisley!
