I haven't tried to order one but have noticed Ruger revolvers in general especially in SS aren't in great supply. My LGS at my club has 1(GP100 .327 3").The sales staff has told me they are having a hard time getting stocked back up after Xmas. They had a great sale.I just checked online a shop that handles Davidson's and looks the same there. Also checked Vance's(a pretty big local gun retailer)same thing.Unless you are looking at snubbies.I'm interested in the kit gun model also.Afraid we are just going to have to wait.I hope they hit that 1 million mark.I know there are plenty of us willing to do our part.Maybe they are planning on a big push before St.Louis.

On the bright side apart from not wanting to wait for mine, I am always glad to see a successful launch of a product like this.
Always want the manufacturers to know not everyone is sitting around waiting for the next od green plastic and titanium semi-auto in 10mm with a 29 round clip.

I bought my 357 at Budsonlineguns.com , see link Ruger SP101 .357 Mag 4.2", Stainless, Fiber Optic Sights $515.00 SHIPS FREE
They had the best price. And had free shipping. It took only 5 minuets to make the purchase. They even had the FFL for my gun club. So it was sent there, and I had no transfer fees, just the state police background check.
Cabela's has been stocking the 22 kit gun, But I bought mine from the local gun store to support the little guy
I just got back from the range an hour ago. I went yesterday as well.
I can't keep my hands of my new kit guns

I noticed two inn the hand gun case as I was filling out my Form 4473 for a Ruger GSR on Saturday. I was just as shocked to see the 4" Sp101 as I was to see the GSR

Buds was out of stock as well last I checked. Did run across a very nice TALO 686 .357 in 3" while I was looking around. Pricey though.
I'll wait a bit and keep looking but may have to give the 686 a try if one doesn't turn up soon.

They have not had the 22 in stock for over a month.

Every day that I am off work, I clean or shoot my SP's
They rock.
