Picked up my KLCR .357 about an hour ago. It's the first new gun I have ever owned/purchased. I can't wait to get it to the range!

Looks like you ought to have fun with that. What do you plan on running through it?

Goona run a bunch of .38s through it for practice. Then some .357 to know how accurate I am with that. I will carry it with .357 SD ammo in it.

The Ruger model number for the LCR .357 is KLCR-357. So..... KLCR.

Usually, the "K" indicates Stainless, and since the .357 version is polymer/steel instead of the .38 polymer/aluminum, thinking this is why they gave it that letter. A little confusing as when I see the "K" I think the shiny stainless like a GP or SP. Needless to say, both are blued.

Have fun! Great gun. Mine's never hiccuped once. (except with some bad ammo, see below)

.357 are a handful for sure in this little guy. Tried a few, but sticking to 38+p for carry.

I bought a box of Remington 125gr JSP 357s and had several misfires in both my LCR and my GP. Never a misfire with ANYTHING else in either gun so pretty sure it's the ammo, not either of the guns. Just FYI if you get some of these and they give you similar results.
