I see a lot of members mention their SP101s in .357, but no one mentions having one in .327. Am I the only person who bought one? I love mine. I've always been a die-hard .45 guy, but there is something cool about my .327. It is the perfect PA trail gun IMO.

If I was going to carry a revolver instead of a SR9c, it would be the SP101 in .327 mag. I balked at it when it first came out, but I later found that there are several .32 caliber rounds that you can fire from this gun. This is a gun is a temptation for me.

I had serious reservations about buying mine mawguy. I didn't like the tiny little bullet. My bullets were always .45 period. I am a convert. It shoots great. It has a certain "balanced" feel to it. When I can't hide my SR9 or am out in the woods, I have my .327.

My "other" carry gun is a SW40VE Sigma, which I love. When I compare the 9mm to the .40 cal, there seems to be a real difference, so I get your point. I would have just as much confidence in a .327 mag as I would the 9mm. Anything that starts with .4X - what's not to like? |

I have a Blackhawk in 327 but an SP101 in 32 H&R. The SP has a 4" barrel with CT grips and that..........is the perfect PA trail gun for me.

| Great Gun
I have the 327 sp101. I bought 500rds of the 100gr solid point at $18.50 per 50rds when I bought the gun. Price has went up to around $25.00 if you can find it. I carry the 327 quite A bit in Hume Holster and shirt untucked. I am good to go. I shoot the gun very well.Great accuracy for its size. My main concern will the 327 make it over the long haul. I guess we will know in the years to come. I don't reload but might have to start. GWARD

Got one and love it! Bought it for my gal, but I'm not done playing with it yet!! What a sweet shooting gun! I may have to buy her another...... My only gripe about the 327 is that target ammo is hard to find! As is 32 S&W and 32 H&R..... Hopefully that will not be an issue for very much longer |

Ammo is hard to find and expensive. I don't know if its hard to find because it is in such high demand or because it never cought on.

I bought one for my wife, to replace a S&W 642, but she didn't like it. I like it, so now it's mine.
I reload so it dosen't cost too much to shoot |

Incidentally, Buffalo Bore is producing 32 H&R mag rounds, 100 gr. JHP @ 1300 fps. They plan on producing .327 ammo later in the Summer or early Fall. Their stuff is a little expensive but outstanding quality and performance.

I've been hand loading 327 ammunition for a little over 2 years now. It is straight forward easy. I cast a Lyman 311316 115 grain gas checked bullet sized .313 over a charge of A#9 and it is a thing of beauty!!!!!!! The cartridge seems to be more accurate with the heavier bullets for some reason. I've tried from 85 gr to the 115 grain and the heavier the better accuracy wise.

Nope, you're not the only one who loves the sp101 327. Bought one and waiting for brass availability for reloading and I think 38-55 has a good idea with the AA#9. Also waiting for a good used Blackhawk in 327 to pop up on Gunbroker to add to the collection.

My 327 is in the GP100. I'm very pleased with it. I've only run about 200 rounds through it so far. I reload for it but only brass available is the factory stuff once fired. I've contacted Starline several times to express my interest in their producing brass and have received two acknowledgment that they are going to produce brass as soon as they can fit it into their production. If you guys would shoot Starline an email from their site maybe they would get the idea that the brass would sell. I have never run into any of the American Eagle stuff and the Federal at $22 for 20 rounds..... Guess reloading is the only way to go for now.
