Lobo holster

Think I put this in wrong forum by mistake. Anyone had experience with the enhanced pancake leather holster by Lobo gunleather? Ready to pull the trigger on one for a ruger sp101 in three inch.
Thoughts anyone?
Thanks

I ordered a Enhanced holster from Lobo for my Sp101 - 2 1/4 barrel that I'm going to be getting. The firearm is coming out of my brothers estate and I have to wait for that to clear. I had ordered the holster hoping that the firearm would be here by the time the holster came. I don't have the firearm yet , but the holster I have. The quality of Lobo's work is very good. I haven't been able to wear it yet but when I do, I'll be very proud to show it off. I'm a NRA instructor and I will be showing it in my classes. I like my leather holsters. Hope someone else will be able to get back to you on how it wears with the firearm in the holster. I would go for it, by what I see in his work. Good luck on your decision.

OWB Carry Holsters

hit that link and scroll down to my post for pics of my lobo holster and LCR in it.

i can't say enough good things about ray's work. the holster wears as good as it looks and the fit of the LCR is perfect. ray has good communication through the sale process, was spot on with his build time, and then sent me an email at time of shipping to let me know it was on the way.

the only real thing to note, and it's mentioned on the site, is to be aware of the dye on the leather. i did have some color rub off on my jeans the first few times i wore it, but it washed out with no problems.

Thanks, lowrider. That pretty much seals it for me. I have an enhanced pancake due here in the next 2 or 3 days, for a colt commander. Was wondering about the ruger holster fit. I'll be letting Ray get me one on the way. Thanks again for the info and the pics.

Just got my commander holster from Lobo leather, and it fits my build and rides perfectly. I have also just ordered my enhanced pancake to fit my Ruger SP101 from Lobo as well. If it fits as well as my commander holster, I will be a contented little boy!

Mr. Ray made one of his wonderful Enhanced pancake holsters for my 3" SP101 a few months ago. I really, really like it!

Actually, I liked it so much that I had him make a couple of speed-loader pouches and a belt to go with the holster.

Just for fun, I've used the little 3" SP101 and Lobo holster in our IDPA matches --- but I use a jacket pocket for the speedloaders in for IDPA matches. The Lobo speedloader pouches are great for secure daily carry, but I'm just a bit quicker getting speedloaders out of my pocket during a match.

By the way, I do have other brands of holsters, but plan to use Lobo Leather for any future holster needs because of his helpful, excellent advice and friendly service.

JMHO

I forgot to say that the "fit" of my 3" SP101 in that holster is about perfect --- while still being easy to draw and re-holster in our IDPA matches.
