I have no problem pocket carrying my SP101, 2.25", with the factory DAO/shrouded hammer. But, you have to have a very good belt to keep your pants up. Also, you need a very good quality pocket holster. I think the best pocket holsters, especially for heavy all-steel snub-nose revolvers, is made by Mika. That is what I use with my SP101 and it conceals very well. Here is a link to Mika's holsters:

I pocket carry my SP101. A little big, but works ok when dressed properly. Not ideal for pocket carry, but a tank of a revolver

I have pocket carried my SP101. You know it's there from the extra weight. I know it inches my jeans down where I'm constantly pulling them up. Have a nice set of leather suspenders that helps alleviate that problem.

My SP101 was a nice break from the Springfield loaded Champion that I had been carrying in my front pocket.

I wear Duluth cargo pants that have an inner pocket that the muzzle fits down into like it was made for that.

I'm 6'5" and danged near as wide as tall. A smaller guy with tight fitting britches might not be able to pull this off.
