| Pics of my New GP100
I hate starting a new thread, but I couldn't figure out how to change the title to say pics added on my other one. Anyways after a couple of hours on the Chicago Tollway (294) here she is!
Pretty much blew my gun fund for a while with this and the 1950 Ruger Standard I got last month. The Hogue Monogrip feels kind of small in my hand, but I will give it a whirl before changing it. Would like a set of wood grips eventually. Can't wait to take it out after I get the factory stuff cleaned out!

Thanks everyone. Been wanting one for quite a while. It was between this one and the Blackhawk (50th Ann.) after shooting both I chose this. I have about 400 cases saved. Now to get some components!

Nice! Good to see some blued GP's!
My blue 6" started life looking like that, now it wears Hogue Pau Ferro grips, a fiber optic front sight, an aperture One Ragged Hole rear sight and a set of target springs. I am a fan of leaving my guns "bone stock" but this was one I decided to tinker with and make a pure "range toy".
The new sights weren't on yet in the pic, but the more I shoot with those wood Hogues the more I love them, they are exactly the same dimensionally as the rubber Hogues, but better looking and feel great in the hand. |
