GP100 Compact Grips?

Can anyone point me in the direction of a set of rubber, compact grips for my 3" GP100?

All I've seen (for a while now) is "Back-ordered" at Midway and Brownells along with compact wood grips (not fond of wood grips on my revolvers).

This is my hiking gun and I've grown fond of it and would like it for as my winter CCW.

Thank you in advance,
Lucky

PS I have used the search function but I guess I'm not hitting the right string of woods.

I have had a set on backorder from midway for almost a year. I dont think they are being made anymore, so your best bet is to check e-bay or one of the other auction sites. If nothing else, a good way to get some is to buy a used GP with them on it

I wish Hogue would make a more compact monogrip for the GP's, like the Bantam series grips the make for the s&w K/J frames.

There needs to be! If you can find some, the Uncle Mikes/Butler Creek grips are slightly smaller than the old style wood insert grips, but they have been discontinued. Sometimes they pop up on E-bay for around $12-15. They don't print all that badly under a light jacket, and are very comfortable while shooting hot magnum loads.

Wow, must of missed these the other day:

Ruger GP100 Revolver Pistol Grips Gun Part Uncle Mike's - eBay (item 400091146018 end time Nov-05-10 20:01:34 PDT)

GP100 Butler Creek Grips

These seem to be inbetween the older GP100 grips and the Compact GP100 grips in size.

Regards,
Lucky

Thanks Gun Clinger! My Bulter Creek grips came in today. Love these grips as they are smaller/thinner than the Leets. Going to burn through a quick 50 rounds after classes tomorrow and report back.

loose cannon: Good thread. I'll definately sign up and bug hogue as well.

Regards,
Lucky
