Pachmayr grips on GP-100

What do you guys think about the Pachmayr Diamond Pro grips on a GP-100 357mag? The rubber stock Hogues work pretty well for me but feel a little narrow for my large hands. I like the look of the old style Letts grips with the inserts but they're thicker and the knuckle of my middle finger ends up right against the center of the trigger guard. Not pleasant when I shoot 357s. With the hogues my middle finger wraps farther around the grip and knuckle of middle finger gets beyond the trigger guard (good). The Pachmayr look like they would fill my hand better being thicker. My question would be for you guys with very big hands and have the Pachmayrs. Do the finger grooves on the Pacs keep your middle finger from contacting trigger guard?

Only you know how they'll fit your hands. I use Pachmayr Grippers on my GP-100 and really like them.

I have Diamond pro grips on a S&W 686 357. Very comfortable to shoot with those on it but then I do not find 357 revolvers difficult with most any grips. One thing I have found is the Diamond pro grips are soft and wear down quickly rubbing against clothing or whatever else. Not worn out or anything but the little rubber diamonds are gone in a place or two.
I have them on a S&W Model 69 44 magnum and they definitely take the bite out of full house 44 magnums compared to a couple other grips tried.

I tried the Pro Diamonds on my GP but didn't like the fit or feel. They felt too thick and the screw kept pulling out. Went with the new Hogues Match Champion style Synthetics and are the best I have found.

Are the "tamer" Hogues any thicker than the stock factory rubber Hogues Ruger puts on them. The stock Hogues feel a little too narrow for a perfect fit for me. I've got arthritis in my right hand that makes it impossible to close my fist completely. The wood target grips on my '67 Colt trooper fit perfectly.
