Another GP100 44Spl Question

For those of you who have the 3" model #1767 with the hardwood grip, Do you
like the grip or did you change it out? If so, why? On the fence for the 1761 and the 1767. On the one hand, grips can be changed out easily. Im more a fan of the FO front sight than the gold bead. Can be changed out also, just a little more work. I have the BH Bisley 44spl in 5 1/2" so im looking more at the 3" over the newer 5". I do like it, but a 3" would be fun along with the BH. Any good or bad comments are always acceptable. We're all different. Thankfully Ruger sees that too!!. Ron

This is somewhat related as far as a GP100 with a 3 inch barrel. I have a Ruger GP100 WC II with the gold/brass bead front sight & I really like the front sight. Even with my old eyes the front bead is easy to see.

Thanks gqucool. I have an SP 101 WC with the gold/brass sight. I haven't fired it yet but at 2.25" its more point and shoot. I've had the brass on a few 10/22's and didn't care for them and swapped them out for FO's. Kinda curious how the walnut grip feels with a 44spl in a short frame. Probably overthinking it all, but would like a few opinion from the experts here on the site. Thanks and keep it coming. Ron
