| Pachmayr Compac Grips for SP101
I really like the factory grips for my 101, but I'm tempted to try the RSP/C compac grips from Pachmayr ( Pachmayr Grips Pads Stocks pac 03183 rspc cmpc ruger sp101 -thegunsource.com). They appear to be a little more rounded than the factory ones, and that could make it just a little less likely to print with my Ultra carry shoulder holster.
Anybody out there have a set of these? If so, do they cut the grip profile down any? Do you lose out in comfort and control when shooting?

The Pachmayr Compac's were my favorite aftermarket grip and I tried several. They did feel slightly smaller because they were "rounder". I am not sure why I went back to OEM , I just liked them a little better. As far as printing goes i think the difference is so slight it would be hard to tell but a little bit less always helps.

Just a thought.

Pachmayrs are a good grip for shooting an SP101 but I have problems with them for concealed carry. They tend to print more than most SP101 grips for me because they are t-h-i-c-k and sticky. If I can't find the discontinued Butler Creek Boot Grips I just stick to factory Ruger grips.
