It is a bit rich for my wallet, though.

I'm not much one for ports but over all it looks great. That price tag though destroys any thoughts I might have had to own one. I'll stick with my off the shelf version.

That's nice and not too extreme - tasteful. I like the contrast between the polished bits and the hard chrome finish. The grip looks great - wonder how it feels. At that price I'll never know......

I do admire the work that comes out of the Gemini shop.

It's ok- its appearance is pretty nice. I just don't have any desire for a 44 special. I like the melted edges and matte finish. That always looks nice.

I wish I had the cash to send some of my Rugers to Gemini Customs.

When I look at the list of modifications very little of it is functional. It's almost exclusively cosmetic. I don't dislike the way it looks but it's really nothing more than a $100 trigger job, $100 worth of cylinder work and a $2200 facelift. On top of that for $3K you'd think they'd pay the $30 to ship it to you. I can appreciate a craftsman's labor and skill are worth something and I don't begrudge Gemini charging whatever they can get. I don't think the upgrades are worth $2400 but that's just me.

When I first glanced at it, I was reminded of a Taurus model 44 with all those porting holes in the barrel. I have no doubt that this is another fine Gemini creation but, at this price point, it is out of my league.

Yikes, that's allot of money.
Way too much for me anyhow.
Do like Stainless Revolvers.
As far as the Porting goes I could see the advantage of it.
Would like to see it being fired around Dusk.
Bet it is one heck of a Fire Breathing Dragon .

Definitely a gem, just a little play on words; but way out of my range for sure. Too bad there are still so many more firearms I could get for that amount of money, that I just don't have yet.

This should be in the You Gotta Be Kidding Me! forum.

A brand new GP100 .44 Spl retails for around $600.
Why would any rational human being see a need to spend an additional $2,375.95?
Does it come with a magic potion endowing the owner with Miculek-like powers?

But wait! There's more!
For the truly enlightened, or those accustomed to lighting the smoker with $100 bills
Gemini has a 2" SP101 for sale on their website for the paltry sum of $4,137.25.

Somebody will buy em, but it won't be me ...
