I don't dislike the way it looks but it's really nothing more than a $100 trigger job, $100 worth of cylinder work and a $2200 facelift. On top of that for $3K you'd think they'd pay the $30 to ship it to you. I can appreciate a craftsman's labor and skill are worth something and I don't begrudge Gemini charging whatever they can get. I don't think the upgrades are worth $2400 but that's just me.
Yep. Mine I just fine and the badgers are great. It need no trigger job. Just gave it some shims.

She sure is pretty! but pretty alone does not justify spending 3K in my book. If I had disposable income I would love to spend some of it on a few Gemini pieces, but on a working mans budget an "off the shelf" Ruger works just fine for me.

Meh. $3,000 and they emphasize shipping costs are not included. :-(

Yeah it's a lot of money but then custom gun work is not cheap. I've done a fair amount of GP customizing on my own so when I look at this Gemini GP100 I can't help but start thinking about how I would duplicate it if I was so inclined. Assuming I was going to pay someone to do everything here's what I came up with:

standard GP $600
Soften edges, polish parts, cut slots in trigger guard, hone chambers, chamfer mouths $250
Tritium front sight $100
Bowen Rough Country rear sight $100
Hard chrome matte finish $300 (Fords)
Magnaport quad port $130
Custom wood grip (Nils or equivalent) $300
Gunsmith action job with springs $100
Shipping back and forth to Fords, Magnaport $60 X 2 = $120

The total is $2000. Gemini is just under $3000 but it's convenient, already done and you know what you're getting. They're entitled to make some money and I don't begrudge them that nor do I think they're way out of line in their prices. I'm not interested (I'm too much a DIY'er) but I can see where some would be happy to pay the price to get what they want. There are far more expensive custom guns on the market (Holland & Holland anyone?). I think the issue is we tend to see a Ruger GP100 as a $600 gun no matter how much window dressing is applied.

Ridiculous that at that price Gemini doesn't include shipping.
