Red Dot on fixed rear sight Match Champion

Has anyone here put a Novak cut red dot mount on their rear fixed sight Match Champion? What brand mount did you use, how well did it fit and how did it work out for you? I got no response in the MCOC forum thread.

My brother has the fixed site MC and I'm interested in an optic mount for him. His vision sucks and I'd like to get him a mount and red dot so he'd shoot more.

Reviving this post because I'm also interested in a mount for this gun. My Brother has one and his vision is terrible and I'd like to get him a red dot of some sort for his gun. Does anyone have any info for a mount?

There's one on EGWguns that will work for an adjustable-sight model (I'd give you the link, but my post count isn't high enough).

Otherwise, you might be able to get one custom-machined. Another forumite made some mods to his, and it is a fine-looking firearm. Maybe try to contact him and see what he did. Again, my post count is still low, but the thread was titled "Gp100 ultimate match champion".

Thanks Stainless, I was able to find the post you mentioned. Unfortunately, the OP hasn't posted since that original post.

I like the look of his custom mount though and I have access to a mill so I may have to try something like that. Or more accurately, have the machinist I work with that has the skills to try something like that.

I think the dovetail for the fixed model version is a standard Novak dovetail.

Well, I found out why the guy never posted again, searching for a better image of the Match Champion rear sight dovetail I came across his gun on Armslist. He sold it in 2015.
