What velocity/pressures limitations apply? Can it safely fire Buffalo Bore's hot loads?

I suppose the unfluted cylindern is needed for strength. But I don't like it.

I like it a lot! I have the 3 inch SS version which was hard to find. Hopefully the 5 inch version will show up soon.

Picked up the new Lipseys GP 100, 5 in 44 Spl on Wed. Range day on Friday and the new gun didn't disappoint. Using my handload of 6 grs Unique and a 240 gr SWC lead bullet everything worked fine. A stated in an earlier post there are a few tool marks on the gun but nothing egregious. Very "black" all over (nice blue job it isn't), it has a very nice ominous look to it. I like it. I've been looking for a 5 inch DA 44 Special for a long time and this one will fill the bill.
