Please rate Ruger's Service Department work!

If I get the OK from Ruger I may be sending my SP101.22LR in for repair. It spits lead more than I think it should and also has a finish blemish below the cylinder release area.
Please tell me your experience with Ruger's repair department!
It's been many years since I have sent anything back.
But I sent a Super Blackhawk to have the barrel clocked and it came back with the most beautiful bluing finish I've seen!

No personal experience but I've been reading these threads for the past 4mos. and from what I read Ruger CS is top notch, you will receive a better revolver than the one you sent in.

I will have more to say in the coming week once I get my gun back and shoot it but so far so good. I bought a new Alaskan a few weeks ago and when I took it to the range for the first time I noticed the cylinder binding every few rounds. I called up Ruger and they gave me a shipping label and told me to send it back. They had the gun for a couple of days and shipped it back to me, it should be here tomorrow. Hopefully I will get to shoot it sometime this week.

Most Excellent Service.

I've only had to deal with them twice and both times the Customer Service Rep was friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Service was quicker than I expected.

I've had two LCRs sent in, both were back around two weeks from when they left. Both were fixed when they returned.

I've only had to send one of my Rugers back for repair (I own four), and found the service, turnaround time, and repair to be exceptional!

Ruger is the best out there - at least in my experience. I sent my SP-101 WC in last year for cylinder endshake - and I whined about the polishing. It came back fixed right - and polished the way Ruger used to polish stainless revolvers. Contrast that experience with sending an older M-36 to Smyth & Easton last year. They charged me $95 including shipping. I sent it in because it had loose lockup and weak carry-up on two chambers. It was NOT fixed - and came back with two screwdriver scratches on the sideplate ...

I sent my lcr .22 wmr back last year due to a failed modification attempt on my part. They were nice as pie on the phone, took it back for repair, didn't charge me, and I got it back good as new in 10 days. Best CS I've experienced in a long time.

What few I have returned have been top notch repairs, except a Bearcat Shopkeeper that had to be replaced two times.
Sent a MKI in to reblue and a loose barrel to frame fit, came back looking better than new with my Money Order returned and a note saying warrenty work no charge.

I've always found Ruger customer service to be top notch, it's just too bad their quality control seems so poor and I've had to use customer service so many times over the years.
