I just received my SP101. 22LR back from Ruger repair and it looks great! They said it had a timing problem. It looks like they replaced the trigger group and definitely replaced the MIM hammer with a machined cast hammer that looks and feels much heavier. I re-installed my shims and lighter springs (8# & 13# hammer).
Does anyone know the difference between the MIM and the machined cast hammer? The new machined hammer looks better is beefier and I bet it weighs a little more.
I'm hoping it will ignite the primers more reliabley with the 13# spring.
I also installed a new Pachmyr Diamond Pro #2483 grip.
And with the re-polishing by Ruger the gun looks Great!

I just received my P95 back from them. They had it less than a week! They replaced the firing pin and spring and extractor and spring. Couldn't count on the P95 to fure every time. Will be tKing it to the range this weekend. As mentioned in an earlier post I too had to pay $30.00 for a shipoing label but IMO, I oaid 30 bucks for basically a rebuilt gun.

I sent my .22lr GP00 back to them for some issues and they deemed it unrepairable and are sending me a new gun.

My gun was a 4" distributor exclusive and is no longer in production, so I thought they'd offer me the standard 5.5", but they talked with production and they built me a new 4" version and it shipped today! I'm very happy they are going the extra mile.

I've had 2 recent experiences with Ruger CS. Both exceeded my expectations. From time I dropped the gun off at FedEx to time ups returned was no more than 11 calendar days. Pretty damn good IMO.

Next revolver I buy will likely be a Ruger.

Ruger has an absolutely superb Customer Service department. They not only fix what's needed, but are noted, consistently, for going the extra mile on behalf of the owner.

Best, Jon
