Rosewood Grips for GP100

I finally received the Rosewood insert grips that I ordered a month ago from Ruger. They were on back order and I had practically forgotten that I ordered them.

I like the way they look. Tomorrow I'll pop over to the range and see how they feel.

Your grips are nice looking. I put a set of rosewood grips on my Ruger Redhawk 44 mag. I didn't like the 'pinkish' color tho so I sanded off the finish and stained them and applied an oil finish.

I put a set on my SP years ago and that's what it wears. I bought a set of compact grips for the GP100 and they came with the Rosewood inserts. I like the look as well. Fine looking GP Pampurrs.

Pam,
They look great, Im Sure you will like them. I just got these from Chigs grips, I had shown them in another post , but hey since we are talking wood panels, I couldn't resist.

I just tricked out my GP100 with an Altamont "snakeskin" textured backstrap rubber grip without the finger grooves and hand-carved walnut inserts from Nellie's in NC. I'll post a pic when I have a moment. It improves the looks over rocking the Hogue Potatogrip 100%, and it feels more natural.

I'm heading to the range today to test out the performance with some .357, although I just shoot stock loads so it probably wouldn't matter all that much.
