SP101 sticky crane latch

I currently own two SP101 and just purchased a third, a SP101 WC. The crane latch on the SP101 WC is difficult to press and feels gritty. The weird thing is that it is only difficult to press when two of the chambers are aligned with the barrel. The crane latch is smooth for the other three cylinders. Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks
Jeff
