Ruger Super Redhawk Backpacker Kodiak talo

These Firearms are getting more scarce if you've been thinking about it I would snatch one up before the price goes up any further. I prefer it over the Alaskan I don't care for the uni frame design of the Alaskan. This firearm is all about business you wouldn't carry it for a plinker. It is accurate. It suffers no loss of velocity being a snuby! One advantage over other 44 mags it can fire 320 grains of SmackDown if being charged by a bear. And then there's the shock and awe!

Shorter barrel does mean less velocity. Especially in magnum cartridges.

It's actually a Redhawk, not a Super Red, and there's a definite loss in velocity between a snub & a longer barrel.
