If you're looking for a decent OWB holster for it, this is what I purchased and it holds nice and tight and you can carry straight up or with a forward cant. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I like it's carry and can conceal pretty well with a loose shirt, coat or sweatshirt.

I'm shopping for my GP100 on Gunbroker.com and am in a quandary as to whether to buy the 4.2 or 6 inch barrel.

Question for those of you who have fired either or both, does the 4.2 inch barrel feel as comfortable (recoil wise) as the 6 inch? Does that extra 1.8 inch in the barrel make a huge difference?

Thanks!

I'm one of those that prefer the 4.2" barrel length. Got three GP100's all 4.2", one Match Champion and a blued and stainless GP100's.

My two Redhawks (in .45 Colt) are 4.2" as well. Just like the balance of the shorter barrel.
