Awesome, have a good time on the range with it and don't forget to post some pictures with her new grips... I'm interested in the size...

Couldn't resist posting a pic of mine wearing the compact Letts and SP101 inserts. I have a pair of Chigs wood grips, but for some reason, I prefer the plastic.

As for the Hogues...
On the surface, it seems a poor choice for a 3" revolver. However, I found them pretty comfy to shoot, and I put them back on from time to time. I've considered buying the new version which has no finger grooves.
I'm using a Galco Summer Comfort for my holster. Not a lot of holsters out there.

Here is a pic of my first six rounds at 25yds, using blazer brass 357. The first three, I held a little low, then adjusted after a look with binocs.

They may be difficult to find. They arent made anymore. Post a want to buy on this site. I was lucky enough to get one, and one for my Speed six too.
Happy hunting. They are worth the search.

I really like the looks of those grips and they look big enough to fit my big paws. How to they fit compared to the original grips? I'm mainly interested in making sure my "pinky" can wrap around the grip also.

yeah, i like the look too and these will be better for cc. i have big fleshy hands, there's plenty of room for all my fingers. the pinky is not hanging off as you might think it would when you hear the word "compact."

Here is my GP-100 3 inch short shroud with my S&W Model 65 3 inch. Both great revolvers!

not too many places make "compact" gp 100 grips anymore, including ruger. i found a guy on ebay, he had 12 sets as of last friday, they're all gone as of this morning. seller was andrew*trivette, maybe you could contact him and see if more show up.

Yeah I was just browsing eBay and there are not that many choices, lots of "inserts" and Original style grips but nothing like yours. I'll just have to keep looking and maybe drop "andrew" a message to see if he's got more coming out. Thanks!

Altamont has a couple of styles of the rubber compact grips with several inserts:

Honestly did not measure them. It fit perfectly on installation, and the orange is extremely easy to pick up. I havent had any issue shooting to piont of aim with 158 gr 357 magnum loads.
Hope that helps you.

I had one and it was a very nice shooter, if a little barky.

It went away because it was too big to carry around concealed, and therefore was lumped into OWB open carry role. Unfortunately the 4 or 6 inch is better at that role.
