Security Six Stripped Frame Restoration

I recently purchased this iconic revolver SN# 150-36xxx dating it back to the second year these were produced. Early 1973 model...This revolver was a blued gun and showed quite a bit of bluing loss and just a spot or two of light surface rust...no major scratches, The mechanics of the gun are perfect with tight lock up and timing.
I am going to Cerakote the gun a Satin Graphite Black and Satin Aluminum Cylinder, Trigger, Hammer Pin, Hammer, Cylinder release button & Ejector rod.

Re-assembly done...got a pair of Jay Scott Black and Silver Pearl grips coming to finish it up.

Having one myself that I had Ruger re-blue years ago, I like how this turned out. Good luck and happy shooting.

Nicely done! Cerakote is a great product. Should look really nice with the Jay Scott grip panels.

It's kind of like a low rider car. It's not really to my tastes but I appreciate the time, effort and skill that went into creating it. Well done!
