LCRx3 shooting low; Fixed the problem

My LCRx3 new out of the box was shooting low about 4" @ 25'. Raised the back sight all the way up and it helped a lot, but I didn't like the back sight up all the way, like the very last threads of the screw was holding it in place. Plus it's very springy at that height. So what I did, instead of filing down the factory front sight, I went to theShopRuger site and ordered an LCR 22 front sight which is shorter than the LCRx3 factory sight and changed it out. Now it shoots fine and I got to lower the back sight to close to bottom, the back sight feels in place and secure. Another plus is, it looks better having a lower front sight. After some adjusting with the back sight height, shot 4 rounds in a 1 inch group with one flyer out 2", thats standing w/o rest. Shot Winchester FMJ 130 gr. also Rem jacketed hollow pt 125 gr +p's.

Please Ruger, put this LCRx3 out in 22 mag!!

Got lucky. Definitely not my norm. Though I did learn a lot from, my close friend, a Dep. U S Federal Marshall. He shot a hog (metal) repeatedly at 300 meters with a 4" S/W revolver, 41 mag at the NRA Whittington Center, I was impressed.

I don't know iff the HiViz front sight fits the LCRx, but it sure helped my accuracy on my LCRs simply because of it's lower height and narrow width.
