I would have a problem cc ing mine as all are at least 5.5 in barrel length
possibly true for the one you bring to class, will be completely false once the state of Az. becomes the 3rd state to allow CC w/out a permit. And to think I hated this place when I was moved out here from the left coast.

What do you mean "registered with the Feds"? Is that a state thing in your state? I've never heard of registering any gun and I'm from Massachusetts! Is there something I don't know going on here?

I have a 2 1/4" SP for CC and carry in a Crossbreed Supertuck Delux IWB and a Simply Rugged Pocket Protector. If I have a covering garment, typically in cooler weather, I carry IWB and in the summer I carry in my front pocket with no issues. The key to pocket carry is to have loose shorts/pants with big roomy pockets and a good belt. I bought shorts at Gander Mountain that has a zippered pocket and then a regular pocket in front of it, perfect for CC in the zippered pocket.

When you purchase a gun you go through a background check this paperwork is distroyed after 24 hours. It is however my understanding that if you have a CC permit the gun that you cc has to be registered with the federal gov't. This I have heard form a number of people. And once one gun is registered they''ve "got you." I will attempt to check further into this but as of now that is my belief.

Mines not, in NH you can carry any firearm (legal to own) that you can conceal once you get the permit. You aren't required to declare/register your CCW just get the permit which requires a background check, three references and $10. Someone is giving you misinformation. In VT and AK (hopefully soon in AZ too) you don't even need a permit.

I think this is baloney. I just did a CCW class here in Ohio and other than one instructor saying he liked the grip inserts on my SP101 there was no writing down of make/model/serial#s.

When I bought my everyday carry weapon I didn't go through any additional steps or fill out any additional forms or check any box declaring it as such. I don't know anybody who has.

I never heard of registering a gun for CC. I know people here with permits and no guns.
My LGS probably would tell us if they did.
