For some reason I shoot mine better than my HK's or glocks. I know the sights really help due to my age but just could not miss with this gun, I really like it.

My first Match Champion had fixed sights. I shoot a mixture of 357 and 38 spl ammo. I was always having to adjust my aim point to be able to hit the bullseye. After about six months of this Ruger came out with a model with adjustable rear sights so I swapped my fixed sight MC for one with adjustable rear sight. For me that was the best decision I made regarding the MC. Now I can adjust the rear sight to fit the ammo I'm shooting instead of finding ammo that went where the sights pointed.

Still very happy with mine. Love the fixed sights and how quickly they are to aquire in all types of lighting. They (Ruger) sell different front sights to compensate for 38spl or 357 Mag.

I ordered my GP100 MC 4.2" barrel with rear sight directly from Ruger under their VIP discount program thru my employer on Jan. 3. Saved me $163 vs dealer price with one of our vendors and waiting for delivery. During the anticipated wait, I ordered the Bianchi holster, front sight with red insert and the Ruger rubber grip with the rosewood panels from Ruger along with Altamont silver black checkered grips and back strap. That way I'm ready for any adjustments. Glad to know the wood panels are interchangeable as I had hoped. Can't wait to hit the rang with it. Eagle7840
