Trausch Grips

I have a SP101 .357 with Hogue grips which I like more than I do the factory grips. But recently I came across the Trausch Grips online and I like the way the ergonomics look on them.
My question is about the type of rubber used... it looks like a Pachmayr type rubber but they don't specify anything about it on their site.
If thats the case I might prefer to use those grips on my gun for CCW. Can anyone tell me anything about Trausch.
Thanks

May I ask where you were looking at them online?
Thanks

OK... I was looking at Trausch.com. But then ran into a review on Gunblast after I posted this post.
It seems that it is a similar rubber to the Pachmayr and the grip is fairly fat. I tend to like to conceal/carry my SP101 in my pocket so I wanted to check the type of rubber and the size.
I think the ergonomics are real good and with my larger sized hands they would fit well.

You will find the Trausch grips more comfortable than any of the grips you mentioned but they are fat and sticky so for concealed carry in a pocket, I would not recommend them. I had a pair on my 327 before returning it to Ruger and they are the most comfortable grips I've found for an SP101 just for target work.

I've found them to be superb grips-THE most ergonomic grips of their type. They seem to be made of a material that's midway between rubber and nylon in its formulation and characteristics. I have a set for my Security Six that Jacques Trausch amicably modified for me (twice) as a sort of a beta-test. I can't recommend them highly enough-they may not be the best looking (think "industrial utilitarian/functional"), but ergonomically and performance-wise they're excellent.

See www.trausch.com

Best, Jon

How do feel when shooting a 2 in. SP101 ? It looks like the grips elevate the bore axis and would worsen felt recoi.
