I have often wondered why no one seems to have come out with a round butt grip for the GP as it could aid concealment. Was looking around and found one:

Get a boot grip from Badger Custom grips. The website shows the version for the SP101 but he will make one for the GP100. You will need a grip locator pin to use the grip.

Or just call Ruger and get the smaller grip/inserts they used to provide for the fixed-sight GP100. They're reportedly still available and very reasonably priced; I frankly prefer them to anything else I've come across and tried for my GP100. If you want to subsequently dress up your gun, there are numerous aftermarket inserts available.
