I wish ruger/davidsons would offer a new Redhawk with the 4.2" barrel in 357 magnum?

I try to keep my ruger da in stainless.

I have one security six in 357 with a 6" barrel like new in blue. My only blued da.

My colt Python had a bluing that looked like a dark gray plastic. It was the best bluing job I have ever seen. I regret selling it.

A new frame LMRx-44... Lightweight Magnum Revolver Exposed hammer 44magnum with 4.5-5.5" barrel, adjustable sights; something on the order of an S&W 329, but built/designed by Ruger to be Ruger strong, with a long cylinder like the SBH and SRH to take long seated, heavy bullets.

I really like the idea of an alloy Redhawk. I also like the idea of an 8 shot .357 redhawk too.

For "never happen", i woul like to see a survival redhawk with a 2.5" cylinder. Cut to take .460, .454, .45c, .45acp and .410. In a redhawk sized frame. Something that can eat a wide range of ammo for a variety of situations, with redhawk strength and reliability.

I think the 66/69 series s&w have two piece barrels. If so I'd pass on those.
Something inbetween a security six and a Redhawk in size in 41 special.

The Redhawk in 357 mag uses the same speed loader as the s&w m27/28 n frames. To add more chambers the diameter of the centerline location of the chambers needs to move out more. It can be done.

As the cylinder already is a larger diameter than the N frame I wonder if it was increased in size a bit more in diameter and bore to centerline of the cylinder axis moved out one could 9 rounds in??

As to the alloy Redhawk doubt it would happen but I think the existing RH could be lightened a bit with thinner top strap and barrel much as S&W did with the Mountain Guns.

For them to bring back the SP-101 in 9mm, and also in .327 Magnum for those
that are enthralled with that caliber and the .32 cartridges that it can shoot.
I had some interest in the .327 but no longer reload.

I know that people have been wanting a Ruger DA in .44 special for years,
but there is a small market for that caliber. at least that's what they have
told me in the past.

I'm not sure that they still have the machinery for the Speed Or Security Sixes.
A Speed Six in 9mm is about as rare and expensive than a SP in 9mm.

Like with the SP in 9mm, little chance of Crimp Jump than the LCR 9 mil.

I'm also one that would like to see the long rumored Aluminum framed\
SP-101 come to life.

Perfect for those that would mostly shoot .38 or 38+P but love the
beauty of the SP-101 over the LCR.

It would also be lighter for those that ankle carry a 26 ounce SP.

Ruger, seems to listen to it's customers and also monitor forum threads.

I would hope that their success with the LCR 9mm will spur some further
models in that caliber.
