I went through this trying to decide which to keep. The GP100 on a heavy leather belt is my preference, but having to SP101 on a heavy nylon belt in the summertime makes me keep it.
I try to keep my collection down to a working set. Having a near duplicate doesn't really fit with my ideal. I have pretty much decided I'll just keep both, though. I have tried to talk myself into selling the SP couple of times. Just can't do it. Selling the GP100 isn't even a question. Ruger really got it right on that one.
Anyhow, I thought the comparison might be useful to anyone looking for a .32 magnum.
As a Victory owner [as opposed to a Harley owner], I would have thought you would pick the .22 versions of the GP and SP. Just pulling your leg. Very nice set - I'm jealous.
I don't see the issue, you've got an awesome .357 and a .32 H&R , two entirely different niches filled there. If the GP was a .327 I could see the SP being "obsolete" in your collection.
I'm a Ruger collector/hoarder so I would keep both and also be looking for more of each
Those 4" .32 SP's are beyond cool, very rare guns and I would love to own one. My .327 GP will have to do for now
Not a question with me.....I bought both and will keep both. If I can find a Single 7 I would also buy it.
