Hello to all. Just p/u new to me SP101 357 mag 2.25" stainless

Hello everyone.just traded for a revolver I have wanted for a long time. From the ser# looks like it was made in 1999. Has a few scratches but has only had 5 357's and a box of 38specials fired through it from what the previous owner said, and it looks it. I traded him a three year old very used Taurus PT 1911B 45 ACP for the ruger and a box of Hornady 357 critical defense shells. As a revolver guy I think I made out. Still smiling from ear to ear.

Score!!! Congratulations on a great trade! My 2.25" SP101 is older than yours and has had who knows how many boxes of ammo run through it and it still looks like a million bucks. It's a little tank! Enjoy.

Welcome to the forum too, by the way!

Yes, congratulations on your new to you sp101, good trade! Also, welcome to the forum, and I like your name, 47ford2N, as I'm an "old" farm boy.

You made out like a bandit!
The 2.25 SP is an awesome gun. I've had mine since 1995 and it is one of my favorites.

However, we need some revolver eye candy buddy. Where's the pics man!?
