A possible upgrade.

Well, given not one to preach to the choir, I found this interesting for those that may want an upgrade.....Ruger BX-ABL I ordered this and will give my impressions. It may lack the extension mag release, but nothing less, a big improvement for the buck.

Yep and with the upgrade, I'm excited to get it. You are right about the price, for the extra $30 (The cheapest Standard BX was going for $64.) you got a road proven high end functioning system in the this unit. I expect this will be my last mod to this short rifle. It begs the question why Ruger hasn't installed this from the factory.

So you don't think $30.00 is too much for modification you can do yourself in two minutes with a dremel or five minutes if you have to use a file?

Well alrighty then, as long as you're happy with it that's all that really matters.

I appreciate your response, as others should too. I also belong to several other forums M&P 15-22, and TW-200. Refreshing to know a go for it is still an opinion. I'll give feedback after it comes and gone to the range.

Totally an improvement just given the BX alone. Trigger pull is phenomenal, the basic improvement for any shooter. An upfront group that did the add on Ruger BX-ABL, totally works as advertised, might not be a KIDD by reputation, but they delivered the product.....Extremely happy.

I am receiving a new Charger in a week. Anniversary present! I plan on transferring my tier two Brimstone to the charger from my 10-22 rifle, and putting my new Tier One Brimstone (under construction) in the 10-22.

I also have a S&W M&P 15-22 with an ALG-ACT trigger in it. My plan is to put a Hiperfire 24-C in the S&W.

When I get the Charger, with the trigger swaps, I'll post a picture

Rick
