New Stainless Charger Takedown

Just picked up my STAINLESS Charger takedown (AcuSport exclusive, Model 4920). I loved the look of my blued Chargers but sold them to get the stainless, not sure why

Here's a quick picture......hope to shoot it next week and get a scope mounted (also a red dot....both scope and red dot will have quick detach mounts).

So out of curiosity (since you seem to like Chargers), what is the primary purpose of the Charger for you? I look at and contemplate buying one regularly, but I just can't figure out what I would use if for other than just occasional plinking.

If only it had a black laminate (salt & pepper) stock instead of the green laminate. Not a big fan of the green....

Spiff: yes, just for fun, plinking at the range....a little variety. I have an Aimpoint H-1 I'll use as well as a Vortex Crossfire II 6-18x 44mm scope (using Warne medium quick detach rings). Since the charger is inexpensive I thought it would be fun to use at the range and I didn't have to buy a bunch of mags since all of my 10 round and 25 round mags that I have for my 10/22 takedowns and Predator .22LR bolt rifles will work I really like the new 15 round mag that came with the Charger and bought a few more of those also. And I have a ton of .22LR ammo on hand.....I'm particularly fond of takedowns also.

Waveform: I agree. I would have LOVED a black/grey laminate stock........actually black/grey is my favorite laminate stock color scheme.

Nice. I picked up the same model yesterday. Mine came with the UTG Bi pod.

Looks great next to my legacy model. Pics soon.

I would ask, why the take down version? It seems small enough to me already. I'm considering getting the standard version (just for the fun of it).

The takedown is nice if you want to pack it in smaller case (including protection for the optics)

May seem crazy but it was the case that did it for me and the Charger take down. It's not an especially beefy case but it's nice enough and everything fits inside plus there's even a removable foam piece so you can store it with an optic attached. I have no real purpose for it besides plinking at the range. But then I can say that about a lot of the guns I own. And that's OK.
