I'm still waiting too, since mid February. Seems Texas is a long way from Connecticut. I couldn't sit on my hands, so now my 10-22 is in drag, dressed up like one of these Chargers.

I was at my local yesterday for other business and checked up on my Charger order....it's been six weeks and for the first two he had the order with one distributor, but since then he's gone to Davdison's (largest? Ruger distributer) also. And this shop has been doing business with them for decades. They checked again with the Davidson rep.....this order is "top of the list", for what that's worth. Yeah the distibuter could be blowing smoke, or may be there hasn't been another Charger in the channel to Houston since then. Idon't know, but I am on stock alerts with several big Texas shops online and haven't heard a peep.

Well, I'll play too. Mine has since received a Que'd bolt, Brimstone'd trigger, and Kidd charging handle. Still waiting to get an optic, my barrel and rear cap from SilencerCo (cross threaded and ruined both, but they are replacing cap and re-cutting barrel with o-ring engagement). I cut back my stock myself and stripped the varnish off and re-did it.

It's a Swift pistol scope, seems to work well, holds zero.

Thanks! His and hers. The red white and blue one is my wife's "bug gun" - not backup gun, but rather she thinks it looks like a bug.

I'm still waiting. My LGS says they are a big hit & really in demand.
I have a red dot I want to try on it. If I don't like it, it's going back on my air pistol & I will try a Nikon Prostaff Rimfire 4x in 32mm. I think it would look good on it.

++++Nice guns. Next time I see someone ask "Why a Charger?" my response will be "To trick it out of course." Although with my skill level, I am going to need an entrepreneurial artisan starting pimpmycharger.com.

Still waiting....I queried Ruger customer service about distribution (or lack of), and they sent me a list of distributers to give to my LGS. I am waiting on a standard (4917), and that list had only four names, where as the TD (4918) had nine names, so that might be my problem.....perhaps production is weighted to TD's.
