I've got a Takedown scheduled to be here Monday so it can keep my original SS Charger company. Also bought the wife new Blue 22/45 also due Monday. If not to her liking, then my older 22/45 will have company also.

Stopped today at my LGS and lo and behold a charger takedown on the counter. Asked him how many he got and 5 had come in unfortunately for my checkbook there was a consecutive pair 119 and 120 so now I have two charger takedowns.

I received mine today and quickly threw this Weaver V3 scope on it. I like the scope because its low powered but it has a rifle eye relief. So I'm going to find a low powered pistol scope for it. I haven't shot it yet but was aiming it offhand and with the AR pistol grip I thought it had a great feel and balance to it. I'm also delighted with the fit and finish of it. I'm thinking this might be a great offhand Charger.

The 15 round magazine seems to be the correct size for it. Ten isn't enough and 25 seems to reach the ground.

Any one swapping grips or adding muzzle devices?

I am thinking I will try a colored Magpul grip. I want to suppress this also. I haven't decided on an optic. I may put a red dot on it or a fixed power scope (3x sounds good).

Hey! You started my build!

Looks great! Mine won't be a Takedown either.

Now, where do I put the laser?

I didn't like the looks of the black pistol grip till I saw it with a black magazine in it and a black scope in it. Kind of gives it a color balanced look. I was thinking of putting an OD green one in but think I'll just leave it alone.

I found a place online that's selling the Charger for $233 and the takedown for $300. Both + $25 shipping. The charged 2% for credit card. It cost me $331 shipped and a $20 transfer when it gets here. Total is $351 OTD. Not to bad considering the prices I've been seeing.

Hmmm. Good point. Maybe I will just swap the A2 grip for a black Magpul grip. Now that I am looking at your Charger, I will probably do the same. Thanks, 303!
