It does seem weird to me that Ruger promotes this trigger by dogging their own stock trigger. I'd be interested in hearing 1st hand unbiased experience with it.
Every Ruger I've ever bought had a terrible trigger, every one. You can do a trigger job on them and improve the pull and weight but they won't be like a S&W revolver or a 700 Rem. There is a reason they are less expensive than the other guys. They are still good, serviceable guns. As for the new trigger for the 10/22, they should at least offer us a trade in for the cap gun triggers they put in the guns. Kind of insulting isn't it?
I'll throw in my 2 cents, I have older and newer 10/22's and run them stock because it's an entry level " Plinker" I don't hunt or compete with it so the stock trigger doesn't bother me
I'm sure Ruger knows there's people like me and then there's people that like to improve
their guns so if you're going to put an after market trigger or anything else on why not buy it from them?
