Got my RSI back from Customer Service tonight. It's a mess. Although the packaging and boxes show no sign of mistreatment, the magazine follower is jammed into the open action, and stuck tight. I can't budge it. Also, there are now small scratches and dents in the stock of the new gun I sent them, along with tool rub marks on the housing for the rear sight. None of this damage existed when I returned the rifle. I am extremely bummed and more than a little angry at the moment. The RSI is a gun I've wanted to own for years, but could never afford. This RSI is one of a batch of 250 that were a Lipsey's special edition. Now, it's condition and value are ruined as far as I'm concerned.
I feel your pain, Ruger did the same thing to me with a brand new 1911 Night Watchman that was all screwed up from the factory, I think I was sending mine back to the Arizona plant to get mine fixed....after 3 trips back and forth with them, nothing gained except a bunch of new scratches all over it.
