Though I have shot many a gun with the rear sight cranked out to the maximum windage. With something as nice as the RGS you shouldn't have to deal with that issue...

I sent it back and they had replaced the whole barrel AND reblued the whole gun at no charge. Originally I didn't want the barrel replaced but the new barrel shot circles around the old one.
I am reluctant to send my rifle back becuase it does shoot nice groups, I just want the sights realigned.

After seeing yours I am very tempted to remove my forward rail and fill the holes, it looks nice and clean.

I'm not sure what size they are but you can get them at the Ruger store. You get 5 screws in a blister pack.

I bought a LH Gunsite Scout last week. My first Ruger rifle. I had to move the rear site all the way left to center the shots. Shoots well, works well, nice rifle. Primarily a lever rifle shooter for 40 years. Mostly Marlins. I'm a fan of compact rifles. When I saw the Scout, I had to have it. I'm not bothered by needing to adjust the sites so much. That's why their adjustable.

Honestly tho...I do hope you get your RGS up and shooting...They really are a nice rifle and It's a shame to hear you having problems with yours...good luck and keep us posted... | Actually, this is the question I was going to ask. I talked to a guy once who had the same complaint about the rear BUIS on his AR15. Turned out he was cross-eye dominant and didn't know about it until someone suggested he test himself.
Hope you got the problem sorted out.

Great info. Thank you.
Ours checks out fine.
Any update on the mis-aligned RGS, and resulting Ruger CS?
