Was the rifle you bought used?
Try a lead remover, the previous owner might have been shooting lead bullets.
You could also try hand lapping and fire lapping if the lead remover doesn't work.

| Barrel constriction
I found it while cleaning the barrel. Cleaning jag, tight patch and felt the choke point. I to have one bit of good news. Removing the front sight relieved the choke. Bad new is I have no front sight. Two solutions that I can see right up front. Well actually three. I take a file and open the dovetail up. Fire lap the barrel. Or I can just trim the barrel back and recrown. Dovetail fitting is the quickest method for correcting the issue. The barrel is pretty smooth and does not lead so lapping isn't my pick. Cutting the barrel back would be kind of cool because I've been wanting to try my hand at recrowning one. Safe money is on the file work LOL.

Most barrels have tight spots under lettering, often other mechanical/machining operations will cause this to happen.
I would not hack anything off the working end of my rifles, but if it sounds like fun, give it a try, or fire lap.
I am conservative, and I just scrub away with JB bore polish a couple of times, and usually that cures the problem.

Just curious, if you shot it, how did it shoot (for accuracy)?
