Restocked Frontiers....

Have been shooting two Frontiers, a .308 and a .358, for about 4 years or so. Both are accurate and easy to carry. The stocks, while a little short, do have a slip-on recoil pad added once in a while when shooting....

But I decided to see what a full length stock would handle like and a friend just happen to buy a stainless .308 in a Boatpaddle stock that he hated...so knowing I was looking for one he offered a trade, a new Zetel for the like new BP....so I bought a Zetel and the trade was made...and while I was at it I figured why not try one of the new style Zetels on the other Frontier..... So the .308 got the BP and .358 the new style....

I'll be shooting them probably Friday.....

I've actually had four .308s and two .358s over the years..... Two of the .308s went to friends and one went on GunBroker. The other .358 went to one of my hunting/shooting partners....

There are hardly any Frontiers for sale... Last week on GunBroker there was a NIB stainless .308 with a $725.00 price tag on it...no one bid.

Very nice!

I wonder why Ruger stopped offering this model; it's the hot ticket now so I guess they were just before their time???
